Est. 2016
Built by arace team.
MegaLiFe did not start in a marketing meeting. It started with a lead-acid battery that was too heavy for the car and a lithium one that would not last the weekend.
The story
Track first.
Buddy Club has been building and racing cars for decades. By 2016 the team had a specific problem: every lithium starting battery on the market either weighed too much for the gain, or could not take the heat, vibration and abuse of a race weekend.
So the team sat down with Japanese engineers who specialised in lithium iron phosphate and built a pack of their own. The brief was blunt: stable, long-life and excellent under the extreme quality requirements of the race track. That pack became MegaLiFe.
Every battery we sell today carries what we learned there. The reserve cell and push-button start came from being stranded in a paddock. The IBMS came from a regulator that failed at speed. The three-year warranty is because we know how the packs hold up.
